It took a week to apply after a full day of printing, if I didn't have the body kit it would have been faster, there is very little seams that are visable, another reason it took awhile, they really took their time installing to make sure it was done as perfect as possible.
This car is the same one in my signature, so it looks like a brand new paint, but it's all vinyl.
Cost was around $3k, any design can be done this way, they can also do "half-wraps" and of course decals as well.
A wrap like this will last 3 years without fading... It has a satin clear protective coat applied over the print, kind like "clear" but for vinyl. It can be removed at any time leaving the paint looking just like it was when the wrap was applied.
Routh-Signs in Greensboro NC did the printing and wrap installation.
This car was getting tons of "Looks" before it was wrapped and in the day and a half Since the wrap I get honks all the time and a thumbs up. I had it at a gas station getting some fuel and at least 15 people pulled it to see the car, nothing else but to look at it.. LOL.
Without the body kit (base mustang) the price would be in the 2,000 range roughly. Which is obviously allot cheaper than a custom paint or airbrush. In fact they had one of the top Airbrush Artists in the area drop by while they were doin the wrap and asked how much a full paint like this would run... Artist said 25K easy... And a turnaround time of 2 months.
Wraps are a great way to go to change the color or complete look. I wanted somethin different that stood out in a crowd of Mustangs.. I think this achieves that goal!
