Yeah, I've given up on "fixing" this. Waiting for airbag prices to come down just a bit more, then will replace altogether, maybe even with the 2010 style center.

A warning! I ordered the same center cap as warnen from the above web site. I ordered two, one black and one silver. I received two black. I emailed them back with a copy of the order and have had a response, and to this day no response. I email numerous times and still no response. That will be the last time for them. I did use the black emblem when I wanted the silver. The black was for something else.

Making it digital never emailed me back either. I just simply emailed them my design and asked for a quote... and got nothing. Where else can I try?

They probably got a letter from Ford lawyers telling them to stop selling trademarked Ford logos. What they are selling are called dome tags. I will check on Monday about getting some blanks in the correct size for the steering wheel insert. I can print up anything you design as long as there's no trademark issues.

If I do break down and replace the airbag, anyone have an opinion on whether I should stick with the original center or get the 2010 model? I like the look of the 2010 model (especially since I have the silver dash, etc.) but a part of me thinks it might look out of place since its so obviously from the wrong year? Opinions anyone?

Well, I saw at least one seller on eBay stating that 05-10 use the same airbag (despite the different center logo), but that's hardly the authority on it. (But I too think they are the same only with a different logo).
