Its a kind of ruff texture not real rough, I use Perfect tire gloss by Zaino on it, gives it a nice deep black look. One thing I dont worry about is it chipping, so thats a plus. But I do like the calif painted style.

nite- Wow! The gt500 spoiler looks sick on that cs w/ bullitt grille. Very nice front end, from the pic id almost prefer that over the gt500.
xeno- I may pick up the same chin soon after seeing yours. Ive been back and forth about a cdc chin but that looks good too

there is some fairly significant modification you have to do to get the gt500 splitter to fit right, but the end result looks pretty sweet, imo.
i've never seen one, but it may not be a bad idea

i like that my CDC classic is also a efficent functional desighn. It will duct air up to my intercooler where a factory one, or modified gt500 will not. Also, the GT 500 on a regular GT bumper, seems to create a trap more then anything. It might do something for your aerodynamics for the air ducting under the car, but at the face, or helping to get air into the lower part of the grill, i would think it makes alot of turbulance. No offence for the person with the GT/CS that modified the gt 500 to fit. But your car already has a chin. 2 Chins on a mustang, to me, is about as attractive as 2 chins on a female.... just doesnt fit. It is nifty you made it work, but I dont see why you would pay to get a CS if you dont like the way the bumper is already different from a GT.

gt 500 on a gt
also in this pic i have after it broke off if you look close you can see the caps i used to plug the holes that are in the lip but its easy to do and they are really cheap at your local auto parts store

thanks for the compliments!
I guess that would be me... no offence taken, jd. no doubt that the look isn't for everyone, and it's probably a bit over the top, but I've always been one those freaks that has to mod his mods. good thing I didn't pay to get a CS though!
