Question, if the fitment continues to eat at me, even though you would have to be looking for it to notice it's off, What do you need to do to take it off so I can re-3M it and try again.

Spray either WD-40 or Goof Off (Goo be Gone) around the edges and let it sit for a while. Some people have used thin fishing line to "saw" through the old 3-M tape. I recently removed my SHR panel and just pryed up the edges and cut through the tape with a thin plastic knife. The key is to soak the 3-M tape and to let it sit for a day. it will not go anywhere.
