Default washer nozzle removal

I've done a search on this and i know it can be done with out pulling the hood blanket but anybody have any pictures of how the hose hooks on the nozzle? kind of hard doing it blind just reaching up in there. I can get the clips to release but nozzle wont come up out the top think the hose is holding it up. I thought i coud just bull it off once i pulled the nozzle up.

you're right, u need to pull the hose first. You just pull the hose off, it's snug so twist as you pull.

Thanks got them off what a difference in looks. I pushed them up through the hole then took the hose off, just took a little more force than i thought and you have to slide it back toward the windshield a little. Relocated the washers to the wiper arms now just have to fill the holes in the hood.

Did you use a kit to relocate? Or are they on the actual wiper? I don't have any nozzles and was thinking about buying a kit, or better yet, a cheaper alternative.

With the B9 scoop, does it make you have to remove/relocate the nozzles?

I put together mine own sort of kit. I bought 6'of 7/64 hose cause they didn't have 1/8", And a T that was 1/8" on two sides and 3/16" on the other, could only find in a 5 pack assortment At autozone.(about $5) Picked up some self adhesive cable clips from radio shack.($3) Picked up two nozzles from a caddy on ebay($9.00)(you could also use the rear washer nozzles from a 98 explorer About $5 each from ford) So have 20 bucks in counting the running around.

Just unhooked the ford nozzles from the hood did not take off the hood liner. The pulled the ford nozzle hose part out from under the blanket. unhooked the part of the ford hose by the hinge, ran it behind the hinge. unhooked the cowl panel just enough to attach the hose to the sheetmetal with cable clips and ran the hose through the space over by the cabin filter. Hooked the T to the stock Ford hose and ran hoses down from the wipers to the other 2 sides of the T. Secured any loose hoses with the cable clips that I had spray painted semi gloss black. then snapped the caddy nozzles on the wiper arms.

Now the hard part filling the huge holes left by the stock ford nozzles. If my plan doesn't work will have to go with plan b as in boss 429 scoop lol.

09cs, you dont HAVE to remove the nozzles for the B9. I just think it looks better pushed back a little opposed to being installed in front of the nozzles.

48prerunner, thanks for the advice and write up! It's a beautiful day out so I might consider doing this. I don't mind having to pull into gas stations and cleaning off my windshield, but having nozzles would save me a lot of time, lol.

Did you make up your mind about the 429 scoop yet?

Thanks again.
