Cervinis or TruFiber
trying to decide between the TruFiber GTS-3 and the Type IV. From what I can tell, they are both very very similar. Have read mixed opinions about the trufiber....but yah, decissions decissions.
Oh, and if anyone has some pics of this hood with 10x2 stripes would appreciate it. Trying to get a feel for how my Vaper Silver stangs Black Strips will look with a new hood.
Thx guys ^_^

If I were to get a venom hood it would be http://www.trufiber.com/Trufiber_Mus...f10024-a53.htm
I prefer this one to the older ones because it resembles a true venom hood more closely. The support in the middle of the scoop is no where near the front of the hood and the sides of the scoop seem to mesh better with the hood. On the other hoods I've seen the support goes all the way to the front of the hood and is massive as are the sides of the scoop.
P.S. According to everything I've read, the prep time on this hood is ungodly and cost an arm and a leg. I'm mainly undecided myself because I just don't know if I like that hood on a plain GT vs a GT 500...

Trufiber probably has excellent quality, but their customer service is sketchy at best. I remember them treating a forum member really crappy on a hood. I wouldn't purchase one from them.
I have a Cervini hood, and it is excellent quality as well. I didn't have any trouble when ordering from them. The only thing I have heard about Cervini is sometimes there is a delay in their shipping as the parts are sometimes backordered. I just called ahead to make sure the hood I wanted was in stock and ready to go. It arrived to the body shop in 4 days.

I've ordered from Cervini's in the past about 3-4 times and have nothing but good things to say about them. Shipping might take a while (Around 2 weeks), but it's well worth the wait, imo. I've never spoke to anyone from Cervini's so I'm not sure about their customer service.

I would go with Trufiber. I love my gts 3 hood. Great customer service as well. Phil and Brandon are both great guys. As far as prep goes if its done right the hoods come out great.

squirrel502, where in California are you? If you are in SOCAL why dont you go down to their shop and check out their hoods first hand or better yet come to one of the Mustang shows or cruises that happen in SOCAL almost every weekend during the summer and check out the hoods on the cars. Im sure you will be pleased with the outcome. Ive had several different versions and havent had a single problem. And I havent seen anything negative about their service. Contact me and Ill let you know about a charitable large discount they are offering right now.
