Mine is my DD. I need something fun on my long 50 mile one way boring drive. Has 69K miles now. I could not drive something plain, boring and slow. I'd go crazy.

When I'm stopped in traffic or at lights, I get to hear the sweet lope of the hot rod cams. Good stuff.

Yes it is really a luxury having a second car. My Escape is my daily and worth every dime I've saved on wear, tear and damage from daily driving and jerks wrecking the car in parking lots

I wish I had a daily driver, mines my dd. It gets to be a hassle sometimes, gets dirty WAY quicker which sucks, but I love to get the chance to show her off

I understand what you mean.

After I got rid of the jeep....the insurance woman got a tad bit bitter when my primary vehicle was listed as the '03 cobra (she's so prim and proper....lol.)

It started getting to me, too, when the miles started racking up.... so I gave in a got another dd.

My daily driver is a Jetta TDI. On long trips the stang is my car of choice even though the TDI gets 44 MPG. I just love that Mustang!

I drive my Mustang on pretty days only. I have three other vehicles that I drive most of the time so the Stang only has 8K miles.

thats one thing i learned to do... no matter where i park, i always take the end spot, and will park a little over the slashed lines so if an idiot parks next to me he cant ding me.
