Default Finally painted my lights how I want them

I've always wanted to give my lights a slotted look but keep finding better things to spend $70 on than tail light bezels, so I decided to paint them. I know the change is really subtle but I love the look, definitely worth $3 of paint and a little elbow grease. The black seems to match well with the decklid and I get 3 distinct lights at night instead of two big blocks:

nice, it's a subtle enough mod I didn't even really notice until I read your post, looks good.

Looks great! I nightshaded my whole lights a few weeks ago but I didn't like the way they turned out. I buffed them back to stock, which left the trim around the lights flat black

I do want to re-do them like yours though... glossy and dark. I thought about taking them apart and painting some of the inside, but I photoshopped it and it looked terrible. :[

Thanks guys! Yeah I went the nightshade route too once upon a time, until I got a fix-it ticket for them. Wasn't a big deal because I wasn't to thrilled about them either. I definitely prefer this look

Looks great. I've been meaning to place something black in that area, being trim or other.

Yeah I'll look around for a "before" night shot.
