should i paint it and have the stripes coming down or leave it black

I think it would look good either way, but I would leave it black especially since you have black accents it doesn't look out of place or anything.

I have same gt500 front splitter on my gt and i am always dragging on steep driveways and leaving parking lots. The other day i pulled in to angled parking space and hit the curb on the passenger side, it gives and takes a lot of abuse, if it was painted i would be painting it about once a month. I am not lowered either. This is the very reason i bought it, plus its cheap enough to replace when it gets beat up enough, just my thoughts.

Exactly why I didn't get my CDC painted, and I'm lowered. I'm not even sure how they get the paint to stay nice from AM because that lip I have is so flexible and flimsy you would think when it flexes the paint would crack.
