Also, the screws provided in the kit were to short to screw into the body of the car and they couldn't use longer ones because they would go into the frame. so their last option was to use the 3M tape but they couldn't do that either because once they taped one side down the other would pop up because of it being warped and they said that even if they did get it to stick down that i'd prolly lose it while driving down the road. So i was pretty mad to say the least, never again will i buy off Ebay. the seller even seemed pretty reputable with very little negative feedback. Although i will be getting my full refund from the ebay seller, Ford refuses to return my money for the installation fee i was charged for because although they did not go on, they still attempted to so i cant get my money back. i kind of understand losing out on the painting charge but even with that, shouldn't have they noticed it was warped then and notified me?
Sounds to me like the installer has no idea what they're doing. There are 3 little brackets which stick to the car with 3M tape you then use the small allen head screws provided to attach the louvers to the brackets. There is no drilling required at all and the only way they attach to the car is with 3M tape, demand your money back and go to a reputable shop, before they screw your car up.

lol my eyes skipped that part too. I wonder if they are the ones that actually damaged them? Personally, I skip the dealer on anything I can do myself. They are a great company, great customer service/sales but I knew as soon as I asked about aftermarket parts, they had no idea.

I inquired about the cost to install my roush rear valance that I ordered through them, the shop guy acted like it was some major job that would take hours lol. I just took my piece home and had it on in 45 min.

But since this has come up, you may want to try and refit them the "right way" before sending them back. They may fit just fine after all.

Uh oh. Yeah, I would be back at the dealership and at the VERY least, get my money back. Strange how things dont fit right when you install it wrong.

Dealership- "I cant fit this round peg in this square hole. Must be broken. Pay me."

wow that's unfortunate, I don't understand why you took it to the dealer to have them put on though? you should have went to a legit body shop...but thats understandable...I feel for you man, I hope everything works out

The post title should be 'stealership horror story'.
Roush louvers are top notch. Nothing wrong with the louvers.

I did mine myself and it seems the stealerships are
full of non-instruction reading (or they CANT read) morons.
The louvers are flat when laid on a table top OEM from Roush.
The body has a slight curve to it. The louvers conform to
the body when properly installed.
The screws provided are short so they DONT go into the body.
The only way to properly attach the louvers is by using the
DIRECTIONS and all the supplied hardware (or functionally equivalent).

All the hardware was correct except I replaced the
standard button head screws with Stainless Steel ones.
I also painted the new SS hardware to match the body color...

Just the fact that they mention drilling holes is so far out there
that I would be running from that stealership.
Just think if they actually DID drill holes without reading the
instructions.
What they probably didnt do was to use the 3M 4298
Adhesion Promoter or wait the 24 hours needed for the
3M VHB tape to cure before screwing on the louvers.
I drove around for days with just the brackets waiting for
the 3M tape to be properly adhered before installing the louvers...
Once again, Roush printed detailed instructions for a reason.

Knowing the stealership, they prolly tried to install it upside down too.
