Default Lost Fog lights after HID install

I just installed HID lights on my 06 Mustang GT. Fog lights worked perfect before hand..but now They dont light up at all..just the new HID headlights. I have the relay and harness with this setup (bought from Krypton Bulbs.com) And the stock bulb connector on the drivers side is not used...just the connector from the passenger side. Is this why I lost my foglights? I never unhooked the foglights themselves so not sure why this caused them to stop working. Any advice is welcomed advice

Just taking a shot in the dark, but are they wired in series? Similar to when one turn signal goes out the others do not work as they should (general statement, not actually sure about that with mustangs either).

You could try plugging in the currently unused connector and see if that solves the problem.

I thought about plugging that connector in but the way the harness is built the wire is not long enough to reach to the driver side. only to the passenger side. If no one else has any ideas about it by next weekend then ill see if I can weasel that stock connector over to the passenger side and test it out

Ok anyone out there with some useful information? I know my post count is low but doesn't mean i'm asking questions just for fun and don't need some help.

Check the wiring diagrams and see if they help. I'm at work or I'd try to help narrow it down. http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=1

Not trying to be dumba** but do you have the key on while checking them? The fog lights only work with the ignition key on. I know we overlook the simple things sometimes.

yup had the key in. got off work yesterday and for s**ts and giggles tried em and they came right on. guess the spirited ride to work knocked some sense into it.

Yeah, those silly electrical devices. I once threatened a microwave oven with DC power and it straightened right up. Works well on food processors and sound systems, too.
