Interior lighting
Does the 2008 Mustang Premium come with the illumination under the footwells like those cool scions? Cause id like to know if Ill have to add that aftermarket once I get the car this weekend.
If you are unclear about what I am talking about, its tube lights under the foot pedals area that turns on when u open the doors to the car, kind of like a convenience light in a stylish place? The dealership site said it probably has it, but im not so sure if its standard on a 2008 stang premium?? Thank you everyone for your answers and help!
PS: I am NOT referring to underglow or any trashy stuff like that! The lighting is strictly INSIDE the vehicle. thank you.

It's called the interior ambient lighting package. Appears to be a separate package option aside from mycolor.

"For 2008, Ford also lets Mustang owners color outside the lines with an available interior ambient lighting package. This unique feature offers the option of illuminating the front and rear footwells and front cupholders with any one of seven colors. The driver or front passenger can choose from red, orange, blue, indigo, violet, green and yellow."

Nuke, to answers your question exactly, yes my parents bought it as a gift and sent some pics, and the specs, but not in too much detail yet =( But I will be picking it up soon, and was just wondering if it has any of those cool features you see in like scions, and some other new cars lately.
By the way, Bluovalguy, wats so funny about the tc? I guess as of late it is pretty dated in looks, and has mediocre power/handling/luxury/space... But what do you expect from a brand designed for 20 and less year olds, by people 50+??? (lol)
Anyway, cheap shots at scion aside, thanks everyone for your help, it was bothering me for a while!

Yeah it is suggested that with the lighting you hide the actual bulb from view for several reasons (it bothers the eyes obviously, but also over where I live, unless from factory, the "Interior underglow" as cops call it is very illegal). So its wise to be able to turn it off if ever near a police car at night, or after being pulled over..Just my two cents.
