When doing this trim ring, do you use the bottom half of the trim ring or just the piece on the top? I think the bottom of the CDC hood is the same as the factory hood, so I am thinking that you use it.

So is it still advised that after the hole is cut into the CDC/Foose hood that you "bend" down the edges of around the opening to strengthen the top skin?

I didn't bend the edges when I did my Foose hood. Just made the cut and used the top trim ring. It didn't seem to be too flexible on the highway.

I just noticed you are in Windsor. Too bad I sold the car and it went to Illinois 2 weeks ago. You could have taken a look at it easily with a quick trip across the border or meeting up in Sarnia.

anyone know where he got those trim pieces that are behind the door, where a sidescoop would go?!?
