I think the sequential lights are cool. I dont know much about wiring but there has to be a lot less expensive way to have sequential lights.
Does anyone know how to do this at a more acceptable cost?

$189 isnŽt that bad for a quality made one where all you have to do is remove the old harness. Many of these used to give you $$$ back if you sent in your old harness, but you could contact and ask if the price-tag is still too much for you. Nothing to lose.

The only way to do what these do is to etch boards yourself for this. They do sell a DIY kit for $99, this is the same thing as the other, youŽd just have to pull your existing plugs and cut/splice to these boards.

Even if you had a schematic with the parts listed it would likely cost you more than this to outfit yourself to do it. Cheaper once you have the equipment, but programming with a PIC would likely be necessary in addition to creating a board.

There are of course others that have duplicated this for a cheaper price, likely find more than a few on Ebay. For this IŽd spend the extra $40 though.

I did order the Cheap set off of eBay but found out that my husband had ordered a set from WebElectric for that Christmas, I sent the cheap set back.
I'm glad I did!

I recently installed one of these on each rear fender just so I can see my sequentials working while I'm driving.

HA! LOL, that is pure genius, I was thinking the other day how can I see my sequentials while driving? And I was squinting in my rearview trying to see them in reflection through other shiny cars behind me haha!

The Perfect Flash sequentials are available for a little less ($159.99 + shipping) at the SVTOA Store. That's where I bought them from.

Look under Accessories.

I would rather have the ones that sequence when you hit the brakes
