What are some of your opinions on custom painted faux gas caps?
My dad airbrushes for a living and I was thinking of having him paint one for me when I go visit him next. I would want a black and red combo to match my car's theme right now.

Any way do you guys like them, hate, don't really care?
Do you guys have any ideas for a cool design?

GO FOR IT!!!!! What about Black and red flames or lighting type effects? Could be cool.

Oooo I didn't think about lightning that would be pretty awesome!
I still wanted to put a horse on the emblem some where, but I don't know if it really needs it I already have the tri bar on the back.

Tanner with your car if the tail lights arent already smoked I'd smoke them, and have him tint the chrome of the faux gas cap then have some type of design put on it!

Just a quick thought off the top of my head.

Horse head painted.

Then use the Red LED below installed for his eyes.

I want to eventually black mine out and I think a blacked out cap would go nicely with your rims, rockers, grille etc.

I actually like the led idea. I just wouldn't want it to look cheesy.
Maybe I should just black it out...

if ur gonna paint it id suggest blacking it out and accenting the "FORD" lettering with red....i would stay away from the flames and checkered airbrushing design on the gas caps because frankly its tacky and is just too much for a gas cap...thats like seeing those decklid panels with lightning, fire, or whatever else on it - just too much....
