Default Performance White Stangs

Hey guys,
I just got a replacement front fascia from newtakeoff.com and supposedly the color is Performance White. However, my car is very nearly a pure white with little yellow in it, while the fascia I received was a creamy off white. Only a blind person could mistake the two for the same color.

Question for those with Performance White Mustangs (mine is 2008 GT) of the 2005 - 2009 era: is your white pure white or an off-white?

Also, is there a paint color code somewhere on the car? I have crawled over it and have yet to find one. I have assumed it is Performance White because the window sticker says Performance White and has my VIN on it.

Thanks!

There should be a label on the driver's side door jamb that shows the color as HP. Technically, the color is high performance white. There used to be a performance white (I forget the color code) that was not as white. That's why you need to order by color code, not by name.

OK, I see the HP on the sticker there. Thanks for the tip. So there is no color code number?

Well, for anyone buying pre-painted stuff from newtakeoff.com, a couple of learnings: they only offer "Performance White" parts and they don't necessarily match the HP white. Second, this was meant to be a newtakeoff but had seen quite of bit of action (yellow marks, paint scuffs and somebody might have tried to burn off some rivets on the side (or something weird) because the plastic around them looked burnt.

Mine is an off white (factory HP) while my body kit was pure white. Ur right. Only a blind person could mistake it for the same. Polish the factory white to look pure. It's what I did

The color code is just HP--no numerals.

I've finally got it straight now. HP.

I looked up Dupli-color application guide and they don't have it. Any ideas where I can get it from, in a spray can?

This has me a little worried since I had planned on picking up a front bumper cover for my HP white GT in a few weeks. I went back on their site, and it says High Performance White on the drop down list of colors. But you say the one you received is Performance White, not High Performance White for sure?

I can't say it is Performance White but I can say it is NOT HP white.

I've noticed my rear bumper (takeoff from ebay) is more of an off-white than the body of the car. Need to get that repainted soon
