Hey guys im tired of my stock Hood. Im looking for a 05 Saleen hood. Saleen and Stage3 are out of stock and good thing because i don't wanna throw 1600 for one. Anyone know where i can get on for a lower price?

The aluminum version of the hood are no longer made. I read a thread on here last year about a guy who wrecked his saleen and he was unable to find an aluminum replacement. I think there is a fiberglass version out there, just don't remember who is selling them.

Good luck as those are one of my favorite hoods. Another stealthy option is the aluminum Foose hood as those are real cheap right now at CDC.

Nice, are they usually made out of aluminum or fiberglass? I really wouldnt want to add fiberglass to my car.

They are fiberglass. You can no longer get aluminum Saleen hoods, they (Saleen) ran out and are not creating another run, last I heard they (Saleen) were thinking about doing a run of fiberglass hoods... If you really want an aluminum Saleen hood, junkyards are probably the only source, you might be able to find one on ebay or craiglist, but all the vendors are sold out.
