Thanks for the update Rick! I'm glad you finally received the package. I like the silver accents on your needles. Did you do this yourself or is that the way the OEM km/h needles came? I have considered doing something like that to mine. Maybe paint the whole center section silver.

Eric, lucky I got them before the rolling postal strike hit our area.
I painted them Windveil Blue...something different I guess. The whole thing would look good silver also.
Once again thanks for the great product...awesome craftsmanship!!!

Rick

Hey, hope everyone is having fun driving their stangs this season! Been a busy summer for me, but I did have time to work on a couple custom projects.

One client has a Roush Stage 3 clone he built up and he wanted a cluster that looked similar to the newer style Roush gauges. So I worked with him and came up with a design that would work in his 06 cluster. I liked it so much that I made a few changes and put one in my dash! Here's a pic of mine.

Those look awesome Eric. Nice job! Any night shots?
We have been cruizing a lot this summer, how about you?
Once again those look sweet!

Thanks for the compliments! Here's a nite shot. I am glad to hear you are putting some miles or should I say "Kilometers" on your Stang. I didn't get to as many events as I wanted to this summer, but I drive it every day that it's nice out. Sadly, it's getting closer to winter storage time

The plus side is that I'll have a long winter to work on some projects. I have a bunch of new ideas for some gauge designs that I can finally get to.

+1!

I really like the horse on the right one!

Were you ever able to get that shift light arrow to work?

Thanks, what exactly do you mean? The gauges are the same layout no?

The more I thought about it the less I cared about the shift arrow. I'll eventually add a shift light but I think I'm going to get a shift module and wire it to custom LEDs that illuminate the whole tach face.

instead of the horse/emblem have the GT/CS logo there...maybe backlit? Your creativity definately outweighs mine sir...

I know I'm reviving an old thread but can anyone update me on their experience so far concerning visibility of Fordatude gauges in the daytime with headlights on? I've tried the Stack Racing white face inserts and IMHO they're worse than stock with Mycolor blue in daylight. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also, can you tell me which style you have and pics if possible? Thanks

The Fordatudes are extremely easy to read in the daytime (at least the Chrono version is). I just swapped from Fordatude to a factory GT500 cluster (because I wanted the reversed tach/speedo locations and higher speedo). The GT500 cluster is hell to read in the daytime compared to the Fordatude.

Here's my former setup (in blue MyColor):
