I would highly regret trading my mustang for a charger if i ever was to do such a thing.

And your car looks good, but swap the rear deck lid badge to a tribar and pony one instead of the GT one for an even more sleeper look

Yeah, it's a fat hog of a car but that's exactly why I want one.. big ol'honkin' motor, auto trans, AWD. Nothing for sure, but waiting for the 2012 surprises... I think their 2011's is like our 2010 GT right before the big 5.0 came out.

Thought about the pony badge, but if I do go that route I am gonna have the trunk re-done with the spoiler holes and center badge holes covered/smoothed out and re-painted.

As for the charger. Yuck. I see so many of those dang cars on the road there's no WAY I'd trade for one.

I, also, am not a "bling" fan and like the subdued look.

However, I'd replace those front signals with smoked and for gods sake, clean that engine bay.

Outside looks clean w/out the badges! + 1 on tinting the front turn signals, it's a nice appearance change!

Yeah, that Charger isn't the best (or lightest) "muscle car" by any means, but I might actually consider the 2012 model with the rumored 6.2 RT/AWD and 8 speed auto. Pretty much either gonna supercharge it and put a high stall converter in the trans. The only thing that REALLY bugs me is their damned "push start" and "auto lock/unlock" with the key job.. no keys!

Call me crazy, but I just don't trust a car without an actual ignition I can crank or without any actual keys.

I just wanted it because it's pretty much a "truck" in a sedan body.

BUt then again, I might just get a 2008 GT500 or 2012 5.0.. fvck it.. you only live once!

jk.. it's the next to do on my list! That pic was right after the intercooler install and didn't want to clean it after a long install.

I also prefer the subdued look.. no more ricer fly bys, spontaneous revs by big ol' trucks on rims etc. Now, no one even pays attention to me lol

I don't like to mess with the lights because cops like to pull people over for dumb stuff.. crazy eh? 11 ft. decals on both sides of my car, open exhaust, rear black out tint and louvers... and the blacked out side markers due me in.. you'd be surprised! rofl

Yup, been thinking about it and they came off like butter with a little elbow grease and a heat gun. I'd drop it, but it'll be worse in the winter than before! dOH!

If I do keep the car, I am getting a GT front bumper and V-6 rear (cutting out an extra exhaust for the duals) and a flat hood/no scoop.


I already surprised the hell out of some M3's, Challengers, WRX's this summer

The 5.0 is cool but I drove both and let me tell ya.
I'm glad I went with the 08 GT500

Got mine with 3800 mi. on it and for A LOT less than a 5.0 Premium.


Do some digging and you can do the same.

Those (08-09) GT500's are going for a great price though!
