Tanner its a great idea, and I think a combo of your two chops would look sweet. Keep the olive on the top with a runner of silver along the bottom and the nose red like the 2nd chop. Remember show cars are all about detail, so if your gonna do it, get alot of it. Love the idea of bowties down the side for kills...f'in sweet!
Wheels I would go for a pattern that resembles the front view you see of the engine in the old planes of that era, dense with a lot of spokes...although yours do work with is concept.
