Yeah I do most of the stuff to my car myself as well.
Tinted my headlights, paint brake calipers, paint all kinds of crap.
I don't like paying people to do something I can do myself (although I screw everything up and have to do it over...lol)

I hear ya, I've been doing this stuff a good while now, so I've screwed things up enough in the past to be mostly past that stage. I can usually get things right or at least close on the first go round these days

I like that piece, I might get one for the Limer now, lol.
It will stay black in my case.

Paul, you could do a two tone on yours...
I know you have imagination as far as scheme, so I'm sure you'd make it look good.

Why not?
Like the outside edges (front and sides) be painted red about an inch and a half going in.
It would take enough black out without being all colored.
I must admit that it looks good all black anyway... with the cowl, it encompass the engine bay quite nicely.

Well, I have all winter to consider. If I change the color scheme at all, it won't be until Spring. Thanks for the suggestion, has me thinking anyway.
