Question Blacked Out Faux Gas cap

Alright, so I took off my fake gas cap in the back, little time consuming and a pain to clean up, but after all the prep work got it flat black and put back on. I have been wanting to order the magnetic black out panel from AM, but i'm a little nervous on how it might look since the cap isn't chrome anymore. Any suggestions?

That looks great, OP!
I think the black out panel would look good.

Thanks! Its more the fact I'm nervous about them being different shades of flat black and it looking sloppy.

It does look good, I wouldn't be too concerned if you are getting the magnetic black out panel it looks very similar to your faux gas cap. Plus I don't think you would be able to notice a slight variance anyhow.

Ya maybe if you get right up to it and look it might be different. I guess we'll find out!

The visual lines of the gas cap will make it harder to tell a difference in shad against something that is also flat black. Go for it!
