I was just thinking about how I'd like to paint/sand the rings on my control gauge cluster and air vents. Actually, I think I may just sand them like you did but not paint them. The scuffed look is interesting. I''ll have to think about it.

it looked pretty cool but you have to be very careful to try to get the sanded chrome to match up, ill warn you it'll look like you messed everything up when you first start haha

Just ordered a roll of dinoc. I was thinking about just using a satin or matte clear over the chrome trim.

nice! it was a cool project. definitely post up some pics! and i guess it depends what u want ur interior to look like i guess, i went black w a little grey

I'm thinking maybe body color on the trim, matte black on everything else. Well of course I have to get the car back from the body shop first.
