That's a good suggestion. I'll look into it. The one on the steering wheel is 2.5"

I thought about the same thing, I'd like to swap mine for a 5.0 or american muscle emblem

@Doogie65 - you're my HERO!!!! I've been scouring the internet to try and find a 2010+ emblem to go on my 2006, but with no luck. This is great! I'm ordering one next month.

I decided to order when the price dropped to $79 and just need to make some time to install it. I was concerned about it not being a Ford part, but it looks to be legit as it has the Ford oval stamped into it along with a p/n.

I just finished the install and will post up some pics a bit later after I get them uploaded. But it was very straight forward other than a little tedious trying to get the airbag assembly out from under the small tabs and then reinserted into the new housing. Once you get it out, it becomes very clear on what you need to do.

I should be receiving my 2010+ airbag cover some time this week and will post pictures of the install when I'm done. I anticipate that this will be very easy as I think the stock airbag assembly just snaps off and the new one snaps on in it's place. Since the replacement is OEM and should have identical dimensions, this should be fairly straight-forward and easy.

I received my 2010+ airbag cover from eBay and it looks awesome. However, there's a divet taken out of where the pony's "eye" would be. It almost looks like somebody took a pencil or something else that's relatively sharp and jabbed it into the emblem. I asked the guy who I bought it from if all of his emblems were like that and he said 'yes'. So, these appear to be damaged in some way.

I'm still keeping mine because you have to look pretty hard to see the divet and the all brushed metal look to this emblem looks better than the bubbling, cracking plastic "chrome" on my OEM pony badge.

I also haven't installed mine yet because it does require taking out existing pop rivets and replacing them. I was unaware that's how this is attached to the steering wheel. I will be replacing it possibly this weekend and will post pics when I'm done.
