Is it just the way the light is hitting the car...but does the roof, hood, trunk, and 1/4 window louvers look like a different color than the rest of the car?

I think the car would look 10 times better without the stripe.

The wheels look awesome with the crome lip.

Not sure if "ghetto" is how I would describe the all black look, but I agree that the chrome lip looks much better, in my opinion.

Yep, ditch the stripe. I'd ditch the side louvers as well - basically anything that fastens to your car with a sticker should go.

Your car looks nice, though. I like black wheels a lot, although I prefer them without the lip.

Here are mine that I put on in January. You guys are right that the chrome lip adds great contrast/transition between the tire and the wheel, but this only really matters in photos. In real life, the lack of contrast isn't as noticeable I find, or at least doesn't look bad.

If you are curious what your car would look like without the stripe...try photoshop or MS Paint. I did it when I was considering removing the stripe from my Pony Package V6....which I did decide to remove the stripe. I think it looks much better....as would yours...but your car looks very nice as is too.
