Default Soo.. It's a windy day In the windy city

Yes, I know it's only a metaphor for blow-hard politians but it holds literal lately.

I drove up to Harper college (to give you an idea of the kind of parking lot I'm in) and I figured I would park next to this tacky green SLAMMED M3 figuring he would know to take extra care opening his door on a windy day, and I was sadly mistaken.

I wasn't there when it happened but the chip and dent had a little green in them. The point of the matter is what kind of touch up paint should I use for an 06 satin silver? And what brands could you guys recommend?

Should mention I know very little about auto paints in general so feed meh knowledge please!

I just went to Advanced auto parts and bought the one that looked closest to mine.
They have like 3 different shades of silver, I don't remember which I bought.

Da** Karma. I was at a gas station today opened my door and it slammed into the side of 93 Explorer. It did a very little damage to my door. Just scraped a shade off the paint. His truck was dented in like two places. He was cool about and said that he felt bad about my door. I'm getting it touched up tomorrow along with my hood. GL bro!

I got touch up paint from my local ford dealer for a small scratch under my hood. Perfect paint code match. My cars wind veil blue, don't know if some colors are more popular than other, and i don't know if they still stock past model colors, but you could give it a try.
