I just wanted to post a couple pics of the stripes that I put on our convertible. People thought I was nuts for putting orange stripes on a blue car (and I'm sure there are still those who still think so!), but I think the colors work well together. It's definitely unique. Reminds me of the old Gulf colors they painted their race cars. I screwed up a few places but I don't think it's too bad for my first racing stripe job of this size. I've done plenty of pinstripes, and vinyl lettering, even some blackout panels with vinyl, but this was the widest vinyl I've ever used. I was worried that with the cheap price I paid for the stripes on eBay that the material would be crap, but it was really pretty decent. I think we'll live it with for the summer and if we are still sold on the color after that, maybe get them painted on over the winter. Or, for what we paid, I could just change the color of the stripes every year! Time will tell.
