Default Gauge Faces. Questions and Opinions

I've been looking for a replacement face for my instrument cluster. I found one on AM that I really liked, until I found out that it won't work with My Color
http://www.americanmuscle.com/sr-whi...t-reverse.html

That really bummed me out because I thought it looked closer to the new dash (2010 and up) and I like those a lot. Does anyone know where to find unique faces like this? The only other one I saw on AM was this one http://www.americanmuscle.com/sr-whi...t-mycolor.html
And I think that's a little bland if I'm trying to replace the stock look.

And if you have a cool dash set-up, let me see it!

Thanks!

These are more expensive, but they are so much better looking... and made by our own Ford-a-tude.

Those are freaking gorgeous. I really like the Nite one, and you can get a custom logo and everything! Thank you. That is sick.

whosniffedme,

Did you see these White Faced Overlay's? They're designed to be "My Color" friendly. As far as I can see, they're exactly the same as the ones you were originally looking at, except they support "My Color" interiors.

Hope this helps!

Shane

Yeah I linked those in the OP, the only thing I don't like about them is that they don't have that reverse glow that I liked on the other one, at least from what I understand. Thanks for the help though!

How about a Foose MyColor cluster design. Stands out at night especially in the blues and reds.

I had some white faced overlays on my '06 GT. Looked OK, but they lacked the wrench and loss of traction icons. Ended up getting some Stainless Steel overlays, I think it was from US Speedo. They look cool, and have all the icons.
Just be aware that any white face gauges look very "washed out" in low light situations, such as dusk and dawn. I've even seen factory white face gauges that did this. My SS gauges do somewhat, but not as bad as white face ones.
Oh, installation is a bit of a PITA.

I did a custom design for a client. He wanted something inspired by the 2010 gauges for his Roush Blackjack. I liked the final product, so I used it in my ride as well. I'm not sure what you mean about white face gauges looking washed out.

Here's a night shot. Easy to read.

Had these for a year now. Feeling a change coming soon.
