Default Suspension

Can I lower my suspension in the back to fill in the gap of my rims. I just got into the whole "customization" thing. I'm just asking. I have 18's on the stang but its a really big gap between the fender and my tires.

Sure can. I believe Roush makes a rear spring set.

Are you asking just the back end? If so then, yes you can. I believe Roush makes some lowering springs for just the rear end.

It's possible but be careful, too much and it'll just look like you got some blown shocks on the back. And you will lose any of the "rake" look, which is good and bad. Frankly you're car looks closer to stock ish so if I saw it on the street, I'd probably think there's something wrong with it before I would think it was just lowered in the back but that's just me.

you can lower the car to reduce the gap, but first things first- what size tires are those? I believe they're quite a bit shorter than factory. (which can mess with handling, the speedometer, and more)

17", 18", 20"... it really doesn't matter what rim size since you'll typically maintain the OE tire diameter and the gap will be there for any wheel size. Lowering is the ticket and most folks lower front and rear. If you must lower only the rear, then be sure it's a minor drop or the car will just look... wrong.

I have a 2006 Mustang that I have that wheel gap too that I want to eliminate by putting only rear loxer springs. Would there be any issue with handling with the lowering the rear only?

I put Roush rears on mine once upon a time. It levels it out perfectly. Doesn't look bad at all.
