Default Was this a steal?

I just got this today from eBay. I bought it basically sight unseen. The seller never posted a picture, so I got a hold of him and he sent a grainy pic. Seening the scratches, I took a chance. Am I happy? Happier than the witch on the Geico commercial.

I got a 2012 Boss Mustang steering wheel, with all the bells and whistles inside. It has the SYNC buttons, and I have the correct radio head, and Sync Kit, so I will now see if it will work. The only problem with the wheel is a couple scratches in the side slip cover. It looks like someone had a belt with a buckle that was touching. It will clean up with little or no big problem. To me, I stole this. I paid 115 delivered to AK. Total. Not a bad buy. What do you think? Here is a picture.

I was just checking for how to hook up a weird button set on the left side, only to find that this a 2013 Boss steering wheel, not 2012. This one has the dash switches that make the read out change (TrakPak??). I don't know how or why I'd use that function (nothing to use it for, lol) but had to see what it fit. looks like a power mirror controller more than anything else.

Does your steering wheel have the track app button on the left side or just cruise control buttons? I ended up with a track app button that I'm going to change out to a standard cruise control switch.

I don't believe so, I just have the Cruise buttons and the radio buttons. I spliced the cruise buttons to work; would be nice to have the radio once as well! The track app button probably comes with the boss. Don't hold me to it though!

I keep reading about switching a couple wires to fit our cars, but I'll be damned if I see where to do that at with just the wheel in front of me. Is this at the column you are describing the plug change? Any pics? thanks

I take it back. What I thought was a great deal, turns out to be only mediocre. I watched a 2012 GT wheel, leather with white stitching go today for 52.00 plus 14.00 freight. Nary a scratch. It was a no reserve auction, .99 cent start. Freakin' Unbelievable. Good for that guy. He did well.

On another note. Someone one here wanted a set of leather takes off for their Mustang, and on eBay today, there is a complete set of charcoal leathers for a coupe for a buy it now of 150 with free shipping in the lower 48. Someone should ****** those up quickly. Great shape for 30k miles.
