I am getting ready to put a GT 500 rear bumper on my 06 GT and want to know is there a difference between the GT 500 lower side skirt (below doors) and a GT. Is the GT 500 just unpainted? a different texture like the GT 500 lower part? I want to tie in the flat black CDC front chin splitter with the lower unpainted black part of the GT 500 rear bumper.

I also thought about plastidiping these two parts.

No difference, the GT sideskirts are painted to match the car color while GT500/V6 skirts are left flat black.

You could just buy some GT500 skirts, or save a ton of cash and just get V6 skirts if you want the black look. They all bolt up the exact same way.

Just paint the rear valence CS style. That's how I did mine

Don't pay too much for the side skirts just because they "came off a GT500" - because they are simply the stock V6 side skirts. Nothing special about them (same with the mufflers up until the 2010 model year the GT500 used the stock GT mufflers for an automatic)
