Started on one side and evenly started pulling slowly to remove them. Then cleaned off what glue was left with mineral spirits and a microfiber towel and then washed to get the mineral spirits all cleaned off.
Was the paint faded under the stripes? I just bought an 07 Pony Package (V6) with the racing stripes that I personally don't care for, but I'm afraid to see what's underneath them, since I believe they've been on since the car was new (but can't be sure). If I take them off, I suppose I could replace with a different color (now they're grey), and also the end of the stripe on the trunk already has some missing pieces.

A lot of it depends on color, but it has become less of a problem in recent years, if you have a garage spot for your car then there won't be any color difference at all. It's usually only reds and blues and maaaybe yellow/green that sit outside all the time.

I'll probably be trying to remove them very slowly, and yes I do believe it has been in the sun a rather lot, before I had it, it was a rent-a-car, the paint seems pretty good though, I will find out though... probably next weekend when I get my tuner, screaming demon coil pack, taylor street thunder wires, and new plugs, might as well just try it then
