Default 18's or 19's... Wheel Work

So I've been planning to do some wheel work for a while now on my '06 gt. Ive been searching for new rims and tires and decided on a staggered set of charcoal AMR wheels from AM. Now I need to pick a size...

18" all around, 19" all around, or 18" front and 19" rear? If you live in the city I'd especially like to hear from you if you've had any problems with them or not. Im from Brooklyn, NY.

Also, someone recommended I get my calipers powder coated yellow (the color of my mustang). Any thoughts on this? Also open to other appearance suggestions.

Sounds good, have any side shots or photos? How much did you drop your ride?

I have 19s and think they fit really well.

IMO 20's is a bit much on a stang and depending on the rim and color of the car, it COULD work but mostly looks way too over the top.

19's are solid on Stangs, but 18's is probably your best bet. If there's still a decent sidewall the 19's aren't going to affect ride quality much over the 18's.

19's look better, 18's are probably better all around. Cheaper too.

Agreed. It's like such a perfect amount of tire vs wheel vs gap.

Yeah I haven't looked at 20" rims because of that over-kill look. Unless it's a custom job for a show car. I'm a little scared to get 19s because my area isn't all smooth streets although I know which ones are and aren't. Definitely will drop the car though like 1.3" all around. Don't want it too look like a truck lol.

I've got 19" OEM '11 GT/CS Rims, they look great and the sidewall is adequate, I didn't notice much difference honestly in ride quality over the factory 17s my car had before. I live in the DC area so there's tons of traffic, truly f***** roads etc...

I love the way the wheel fits in the well, if I can find some pics I'll send em up
