When I was in the market for an shifter, if found there were very limited options for the Mustang autos for 05-09. This is one of them but I also had a conversation with a guy from sickspeed.com who was making a kit for the automatics for these years. I got one sent out to me but unfortunately, ford changed the assembly from 05-06 to 07-09. What he sent out didn't work for my 07 but I suggest you go over to their website. Their option is an actual shift **** that would screw on to the existing assembly. Hope this helps.

I got the TCI shifter for my 05 not everyone's cup of tea but I like a lot.

Very nice alternative to the TCI if you're just trying to dress the stock shifter up a bit.

I have the tci unit and love it. So much better than the black plastic crap piece ford put in.
