Rear Window louver question
Hi guys, I'm wanting to get rear window louvers for my 06 Mustang. There seems to be several different brands to pick from. Can anyone recommend a good one or let me know of any crappy ones to stay away from? Thank you!

I had aluminum ones on my '82 GT. I could raise it up to clean the windows....yes, holes were drilled but if you want to keep your windows clean you may want the kind that has hinges. They did keep the interior cooler in the summer but sometimes you heard them rattle. I think that's just the nature of the louvers.....hinges or not.

All of our rear window louvers mount with 3M tape to the rear window. This is important if you don't want to drill into the car. Especially if you may end up selling the car down the road. I personally prefer to use 3M tape whenever I can. If installed correctly, it seals very well and don't cause any permanent damage.
Lately, my new favorite rear window louver is the new MMD rear louver. It has nice sharp lines within the mold, which looks more muscle-car IMO. Have you seen the MMD rear window louver before?
Do you know of a particular design that interest you?

I have an Astra-Hammond aluminum louver and had it painted the same color as the rest of the car (as are my quarter window louvers). Other than having a 2nd bracket come loose over the 6+ years they've been installed, they look great. I only wish they were hinged for easy rear window cleaning.
