Default opinions on appearance

So I know I post alot on here, but I need ya'lls opinions. I have some extra money saved up and figured id throw it at my sixxer. Im wanting to dress up the front, but am torn between either getting a gt bumper, or just a halo foglight grille combo for the v6 bumper. Ive seen a painted gt bumper on mr bodykit, but after reading reviews, im not sure about giving them my money as well as having trouble finding a used one in the houston area. So opinions guys? What would you do?

If it was me, I'd get the halo foglight grille combo, imo putting a GT front bumper on a sixxer is wrong, being as I own one, I'd never do that.

I have personally seen both combos and alot of other variations. If you like the GT front end then get it if you prefer the foglight combo then get it. It's your car and what makes you happy is all thats important! Everyday I walk out in my garage and I smile at my car. I like the way it looks and I like the work I have done to it. Try to look at alot of pictures of both setups and the amount of work both will take to install and of course, how deep your pockets are. I think eventually you will start leaning towards one or the other.

I personally think the Shelby front clip looks the best on the 2005-2009 cars. Any of the non-Shelby front clips (GT or V6) have the straight up/down pillars and it makes the front end look too square.

There's a guys up in Austin selling a 05-09 Shelby front bumper cover right now. No price listed in the ad.

Changing the grille can make a huge difference. chrisdbassplayer's is a good example. A chin spoiler can also make a big difference. That's the best part of modding a mustang. so many options

I would go with a GT or California Special bumper since you can get them cheap and they are easy to bolt up. I'm not sure what color your car is but check ebay, they have a ton of oem bumpers listed and some of them have paint thats in good shape.

Hey thanks for all the feed back guys. Ive decided to keep my billet grille and just adding a chin spoiler paint matched, and I got my super snake stripes in, just need to find time to get them installed. Im looking at getting a new car in the summer. Either a 05-09 gt or a 11-13 5.0 and keeping my sixxer. I really want to just give in an use the down payment money on a s/c and everything that I need to get it done right. But id hate something to happen and be without a vehicle, so I think the right choice is to get another and go with a v8.

Ok so thanks the nice Texas freeze, my stripes were pretty much ruined and im out $85 bucks. I had applied them to my hood and was gonna leave them over night to make sure they dried so I wouldnt have an issue with removing the transfer tape. Now im rethinking the stripes, again. To do, or not to do?

I used some vinyl I had from some decals I was was making and did a mock up of what the stripes looked like before I ordered the set. The pin stripes actually go on the outside of the washer nozzles
