Default how is this idea?

I love my stock GT grille but I'm thinking just as a small touch, to replace the running pony emblem with this tribar emblem:

It should just be a easy swap right? says in product info that it fits all honeycomb and billet style grilles. Do you think it would look nice? I think some of the Boss mustangs do that look though I wont smoke my foglights.

That most likely will not fit in the original pony spot. I believe there is a raised border around the stock one and the tribar is possibly smaller.

I don't believe this emblem will fit dead center in your stock poney grille, as stated above. It's designed to be placed off to the side of any grille, where it doesn't have to be dead center. Plus, there's a flat backing to the stock poney emblem, which doesn't allow this one to mount at all.

For for any inconvenience this causes you! I wish I had another answer for you.

You mean like this? Kind of small pic but I did it. I mounted mine on the bar grille. I think I used a different tri-bar logo. It doesn't sit flush because of the bend in the front but it'll stay there. I think I used some epoxy or something just in case.

I used the black horizontal grille from American Muscle. I connected it using the supplied brackets and epoxied it just in case. I switched back to the regular GT grille though, I like the stock look better.
