Twist Lock Hood Pins

Twist Lock Hood Pins
Hey guys, I was seeing if anyone has came across any issues with finding the twist lock hood pins. I bought a Trufiber hood (GTS-III, A44L) with recessed holes in it. I contacted Trufiber about the twist lock hood pin kit they use to have but said they are discontinued. I was wondering if anyone knows of any place who is still selling them, or if the Cervini's twist lock hood pin kit will work on the Trufiber hoods? Has anyone tried this?

Did you buy the hood from them?
If so, it's pretty schitty to sell a product where its accessory parts are discontinued.
Anyway, they used the repro 68 Shelby twist on locks if I remember well...
Those are available in any Classic Mustang parts catalog but the piece that holds the twist lock will be different so some custom fab will be needed.

I know Cervini's sells a twist lock hood pin kit specific for their different types of hoods. Not sure if the set will work for the similar style hood.

Discounted price... niiiiice. lol.
If the Cervini ones are the same diameter, then you're golden but I can't recall.
Worse case scenario, what I'd do if it was me, I'd use the OEM latch and just double side tape the pins in the hood recess for looks only and call it a day.
Providing................. that your hood allows for the use of the factory latch and catcher.
In any case, good luck man.
