Can anyone that has the Cervinis hood struts made for a Cervinis hood give me some info on the struts?

I tried using the Roush hood struts on a Cervinis hood but didn't work out. The mounting hardware looks like it is about the same as what Cervinis sells, but they use a different strut for their fiberglass hoods. I saw on their website it is a 120 lb psi strut. Can anyone with them tell me the rough length (open and compressed) or where I can purchase just the struts instead of the whole kit from Cervinis? And how you like having them on the hood as far as performance or any bowing?

Try the redline aftermarket ones

Just putting this out there, I forgot which ones I have been so long, but they bow my Steeda Fiberglass hood when closed. not even along the fenders, hood bows up some.
I know the ones I have were not specific for fiberglass hood.
