Default Difference between Shaker 500 and 1000?

My car came with the Shaker 500. I noticed some people with the shaker 1000. What's the difference? Sound quality?

Yeah Ford charges you like 1000 more dollars for 500 more watts. The 1000 sounds good, but I didn't see spending the extra money for it.

The actual power output of the stereo is like 1160 watts. I have it, it has 2 subwoofers. It sounds good, I am not big on doing after market stereos so it worked perfectly for me. I heard the 500 and I think the 1000 sounds alot better.

+1, yeah it is plenty for me. I didn't want the weight of a huge aftermarket stereo, after all I bought the car to haul ass not to put a huge boomin stereo in it. The shaker setup is nice and small, it doesn't take up much room at all in the trunk and since the car is financed I really don't notice the extra 8 bux a month for it, lol.

Here's a picture. Not mine as I didn't think the Shaker 1000 subs were worth it.

I have a Shaker 750 Original Shaker 500, with a MTX Thunderform w/250 watts (which takes up MUCH less room)

Hey SpikeGT, is that a front chin spoiler you have or is it a whole new bumper? And where did you get it?
