Definitive 05/06 ducktail + spoiler thread

ORIGINAL: Stckman i had the shop screw mine in. eventhough they SAY you dont need screws i just dont trust tape... i just DONT. so i had a screw put in each of the side pieces. yes i put a hole in my car but i had to, im just afraid it might fall off on a long trip and i wouldnt know where to find it. Hence the reason I haven't put a spoiler on yet - don't trust the tape and DON'T want to put holes in my car. +1 for the invisi-spoiler

i would like to say that although the roush spoiler covers the factory holes u also have to drill 6 holes, 3 on each side for the side pieces.

I have personally installed three Street Scene ducktails and have had NO problems with the tape at all

Welding the trunk holes is the only way to go. Any non metal filler will fail in the long run.

too bad they smooth out the weld job with non metal filler LOL.

I saw a site once that had 2 ricer lookin spoilers. One that sat high for track and one that low for street. Can find that site again. Kinda looked like those large carbon fiber ones. Any clues?
