Anyone buy into the new Cervini type 3 ducktail? And if so do youhave any pictures? The shot they have on thier website only shows it from the front...not from the back.

Does anyone know what spoiler this is?
Or is this a custom spoiler?[IMG]

That is a full rearend replacement kit that was developed by a third party company a while back. The spoiler on that car is meant to be used with that kit only (which replaces the rear quarter panels)......so it's a no-go for a standalone spoiler. I don't think the kit is even available for sale anywhere......at least, not yet.
I see that car on my commute to work nearly every day here in Commerce Michigan. A shop called Boss69 sells that conversion and they are the ones the built that car for Kenny Brown. They conversion costs like $5K with paint and body work. They are offering a Hybrid conversion also. It uses electric motors at the front hubs which allows for AWD as well. No price on that yet.

Just picked up a CDC for my Bday from my wife!! Got it on Ebay painted for 320! I'm thinkin of leaving the stock spoiler for that Mach I effect. Anyone do this, is it possible? I found this pic, what do you think?

I posted this in other area and got little response. I was wondering how well the pre-painted CDC ducktail spoilers match factory colors. I have a friend that said that they woudl be close but that every batch of paint etc. is different and the colors will be off. He told me that I shoudl go with the unpainted one and have a body shop color match it. Any thoughts? I will have the tungsten grey model with spoiler delete so no holes to fill.

Thanks,

B2

I have the 3d carbon boy racer one... I covered the holes on the inserts and had someone paint them red to match my interior and brake calipers...

I've seen a number of cars that have done just that. I've seen it done with the Cervini B2 ducktail, the CDC ducktail, and the Street Scene ducktail. I think the stock wing will clear with those just fine. Here's an example..... although it does use an aftermarket wing. The pic you have posted above appears to make use of the stock wing, which will sit lower on the deck than this Boss/Mach1 style wing.

Here are some pics of my Cervini ducktail. The quality of the piece was excellent.

Sorry to come in late, but there seems to have been at least one left out of the discussion. Sportwings.com, part # Shelby:P (primed, $150) and Shelby:N (painted in factory colors $200). These are fiberglass and the paint is AWESOME! Mine is satin silver so I was a bit worried about the color matching, well it matched perfectly. Instructions are pretty straight-forward, took approx. 2 hours to install and I was going sloooow. It uses the all four factory spoiler holes but requires two additional holes to be drilled at the outer edges of the trunk lid. Honestly, with the four screws and the tape it would "probably" be secure enough but I didn't want to take any chances. As far as I can tell, it is dimensionally indentical to the factory GT500 spoiler. I included a shot of a GT500 at the end for reference.

Who makes this gt500 replica wing and what is it made of if its not polyurethane? Also I can't seem to find in this thread what the CDC wing is made of.
