[size=2]Oh boy am I in trouble ! WAY too many choices. You're talking to a girl who tried out 15 shades of burgundy before painting my '65 ! I went to the bodyshop today for an estimate on stripes and a spoiler install. These guys do top notch work but i am still in "estimate shock" I also thought a ducktail was a ducktail.
He told me do do some research, but that Urethane was better than fiberglass to work with. They are going to help with color choice as they can custom mix paint but now I see that even the spoiler research will take a bit ! That last spoiler is it an entire decklid ?
This is a great thread and I will probably be here all night reading through ...looks like I'm in good hands with you guys Thanks for the extensive groundwork !
Just curious, how many of you with the CDC ducktail ordered it painted. I was wondering about the quality of the paint job. The price seems good, extra $100 for prep/paint/etc. I have a 06 Tungsten GT. May be hard to match that color, not sure. Thanks.
Someone in the past said you could buy some kind of push pin(plastic) at the auto part store that could fill the spoiler holes untill you painted the trunk or covered it with a spoiler??
