Question help with avic-z1

I just bought a suburban which has the avic-z1 installed in it, but the manual wasn't with the car, nor was the cd. The salesman contacted the people who owned it before me and they said you don't need a cd it is installed on the hard drive, but it isn't. Can you tell me how this works so I can change the personal info and enter specific addresses? It works just to see where you are going, but I can't type in 123 anywhere usa(for example) I am so lost.

Default Installing AVIC Z1 without harness...help!

I've been using this forum as a resource for switching out my shaker 1000 with the AVIC Z1 without the harness and have pretty much everything hooked up with all your help, but I can't figure out how to get the amps and subs to work... is this something that cant be done without the harness? Because frankly I dont feel like paying the 70 bucks for a harness if I can splice some wires myself! I just found this forum today and it's been awesome so far, you guys really know your stuff inside and out!
