Nice ride, she looks like mine's twin sister.
Try this.......... ever so lightly, click your E-brake up 1 notch, this should cancel the DRLs.
Lemme know if it works, it did on a Taurus I had about 7 years ago.

+1....that's the way I got them off on my 95 GT.

Hi, I have an 05 Mustang GT and I want to turn off the DRL permanently does anyone know where the wire harness is to disconnect it?? I had a 2003 Supercrew witht he same problem and there was a wire that I had to disconnect to stop the DRL from coming on. Thankyou

Wog
I vaguely remember reading that it's a configurable option in the smart junction box and that the dealer can turn them on and off by computer.

I've never heard of anyone getting a ticket for not having running lamps especially with lots of vehicles from other the US running around Canada...my work truck actually is an F350 from the US....but then I guess it's one more reason for a cop to be a big prick......

found this on the web...you might want to try it with caution

Locate the green wire with a black stripe going into the connector which plugs into the DRL module
Snip it
I bought a weatherproof inline fuse holder and spliced it's wires onto the two cut ends of the green wire with a black stripe.
Whenever I want to disable the running lights I can remove the fuse
- Daytime Lights are disabled and can be simply re-enabled.
- The Parking Brake Warning Light operates normally.
- The convertible top operates normally

Look in your fuse box.... there should be a slot labeled DRL.... pull the fuse... no more DRL's.

Bumping an old thread here.

Im up in Canada and those DRL are pissin me off.

Flipping thru the manual, i dont actually see a fuse labelled DRL.
Also, that ebrake trick doesnt work cause the computer starts beeping non stop letting me know the e-brake is on.
Where is the actual DRL module located?

Anyone have any other ideas?

TIA
