Wow nobody has answered my question yet on how they get the tint to stick on the front windshieldgiven we have the pony close to the top in the
interior window.[:@]

Do they have to take it off or something?
I have tints on the top 5" of my windshield. They did not remove the pony, and it has stuck just fine. I've had it on there for nearly two years. I would imagine that it could easly be remove with a razor blade, though.

Default RE: Illegal window Tint

I'm in SoCal and many years ago I was walking out of a store at 6:00 AM when I saw a police car slowly driving away from where my car was parked. As I got closer I noticed I had a ticket on the windshield. The sucker gave me a ticket for tinted windows!

As noted before, any tint on the driver and passenger side is illegal in CA but that does not stop people, including myself from tinting them. The only way I would get a ticket would be if they go after my parked car again because I always roll down the windows when I see a cop.

If your really worried don't tint the front windows and only the back. Police don't necessarily pull people over just for the tint itself but may use it to pull you over for other reasons or if they pull you over for other reasons write you an additional ticket for the tint.
I heard that same thing from everyone , its gotta be one petty ass cop to pull you for tints, he'll pull for you wreckless or speeding then get you on the tints.

The problem is most wont write you a ticket. they'll make you scrap the illegal tints off your car right there.

I speed too much to risk 20% tints even though I've gotten 0 tickets in my life I know when I get one he'd get me for the windows too
