Default Throttle Bodies

Hey everyone, I have added a Ford Racing axel back and BBK CAI to my 06 GT. I was thinking that a new throttle body and spacer will be the next mod. Any thoughts?????

Thanks!

Yeah, there's absolutely no point in doing that because you won't get any gains from it and will most likely just get problems. It's a 50/50 chance that you won't have any problems, but you still wont be getting anything out of it unless you have a blower.

Well if your going to be going N/A I would say go with FRPP 4.10 Gears, if you are planning on adding a blower eventually do 3.73's. Or you could go for some L/T Headers or X-Pipe. Those are the main things you really want to accomplish first other than having a good set of tires that will lock up to whatever surface.

I'm personally just going for the blower now and then going to finish off my exhaust afterwards, I really want more power and thats the safest most efficient way to get those gains.

Mild Mods:
Under drive pulleys (UDP's)
Rearend Gears (4:10 if stick - 3.73 if auto)
Custom Tune from SCT

Wild Mods:
A lot of money and a spare car while yours is at the mod shop.

Forget the throttle body thingy.

Say No the the TB, Ford has done a good job with the stock one, Unless you go with a SC forget it..
Nothing but trouble. take my word for it, I sold the thing on ebay... I hated it.

I have 4.10's and don't get me wrong I like them, but I wish I would have gone with the 3.73 in an auto and 4.10 on a manual unless you are a serious drag racer then step up to 4.10 auto and 4.30 for manual.

CAI and Dyno Tune is worth the money, (Don't forget to have a muffler shop add a bung to the exhaust pipe for A/F readings (80 bucks).

Steeda Charge Motion Delete Plates are good for a little more mid torque (a must tune item)

Underdrive Pullies are ok for a about 10 ponies, But overall the best power adder is a supercharger, I am installing my saleen SC this fall.

Granatelli does a good TB, cousin has it and it deff DID add throttle reponse and alittle power. No problems whatsoever so far. If you go with an Xpipe I would reccoment the Bassani Xpipe. They sell it with or without the cats.

How hard are the Steeda Charge Motion Delete Plates to install? And what exactly does it do ?
