I ve got a question for you. I have the L.E.D. underglow kit and was trying to find how to bring in 12 volts from the (lights that come on when you hit your key pad) I tried taking readings from the dome lights when they come on but it seems they have 12 volts on them all the time. I guess they switch the ground or use electronic comp. Anyway my underglow lights work fine how they are wired but they have a seperate input lead you can wire to you alarm and one wire to your courtesy lights. any Ideas?
Use a relay and hook the coil to 12V and the dome light output from the SJB.
Then power the contacts with 12V and run the output to the undercar lighting.

Can anyone suggest a HU? I have a s1000 and am looking for a HU w/fm, blue tooth, xm, cd/dvd, and ipod that will hook up to the s1000speakers/amps for under 500??
I have a 2006 GT 'vert that came from the factory with the Shaker 500 system. I am going to remove the head unit and replace it with a Shaker 500 head unit from a 2008 Mustang. My question is, I know the newer cars have a jack in the center console to plug an IPOD into. Once I have the newer head unit, is there any way I can utilize this feature? I have been told the radio head units are the same, but the aux. input jack is in the 2008 wiring.
