Default Shaker 500 Door Speaker Size?

I havent pulled my door panels off to see what is behind there, looks like either a 4x6, 5x7 or 6x8.

Thanks
-Greg

Pretty sure it's 5 1/4". At least, that's what's listed at Crutchfield.com for my '05 vert.

My '06 GT 'vert had 6x8s. I know because I just upgraded them. The rears were also 6x8s.

What did you replace the door speakers with? Did it look like you would be able to fit any other size speaker in there?

I put in Sony XS-V680HP speakers, very happy with them. As I remember, I kind of doubt you could easily put in another size-maybe with some kind of adapter. The Sonys were a direct bolt in.

Oh darn. I had wanted to put some Focal or Boston Acoustics 6x9's in there but Ill probably have to make an adapter for 6.5's.
