As I live in the UK (therefore have no warranty) and drive a GT Vert (which is apparently not affected by the thunk - which is BS as my car with 42,000 miles has most definitely got it!!!) then I have to buy the parts myself
So put in an order with a dealer in Baltimore, where I am visiting this month, and the parts arrived in stock within 2 days - isn't it strange how quickly you can get the parts if you are willing to pay your own $$$
Verts are most definitely effected as you found out. Same mounts. Ford was rumered early on as saying that they were excluded when they thought the cross brace was fixing the problem. They started putting the brace on at the factory on 3/07 build Coupes and the thunk was still showing up soon after delivery like on mine.

Bought my pony 2 weeks ago and was just thinking about the clunk sound I've been getting around 35 mph and less. I then find this thread and everything just came together. Looks like I'll be printing the TSB an taking it with me for my first oil change.

As the Mustang is a US only car, then Ford will only honor warranties for cars that arein the US - they can get away with it legally.
I (and many other people) have challenged this - the best I have got is that if I bring the car back to the dealer in the US then they can assess any warranty work needing doing - guess it's like you guys, the dealer wouldn't give you parts without seeing the car - just that mine is 5,000 miles from my nearest dealer!
FYI: The upper end link loosens frequently. Mine did 1 month after getting
the new mounts installed. If this is loose, you'll hear thunking/knocking
whatever you want to call it.. coming from everywhere under the car. Much
more annoying the just the thunk. See diagram below:

im an idiot and if someone could please take an actual picture from under the car of that endlink i would like to go and try to tighten it rather than go to the dealership and have to argue them to fix the weird noises coming from my front end.
the stock endlink looks like the silver colored one in the top picture and the placement of it is pictured in the second image. you have to put a wrench on the end of the bolt and use another wrench to tighten the nut. it's easier if you take the wheels off, but you also should have the suspension loaded. if you have ramps that may help, or put your jackstands under the a-arms. real fun.
